| Sick on Christmas by Norman Rockwell |
I feel a bit like this little girl today. My lack of sleep lately is catching up with me and I started getting a sore throat last night. I do not want to be sick for Christmas. I stayed home from church today (even though it made me sad to do it) because I thought it was important for me and two of my getting-sick boys to rest up. Maybe if we are careful we can nip this thing in the bud and all feel 100% by Christmas.
So today I am taking a day off and I am:
- sipping THIS (just like my mom used to make us when we had sore throats. It's a perfectly soothing holiday drink too).
- listening to THIS
- reading THIS (upon the recommendation of my friend, Jana).
- wishing for THIS
- dreaming of Christmases past spent with family.

I hope you and yours get to feeling better asap. Let me know if you need anything, anything at all. Also, if you want to postpone our date until next week facebook me. I don't want you to be sick for the holiday. You need to be 100% so we can invite you over for treats this weekend.

Hi, this is completely random, but I was just searching for "Norman Rockwell + sick" on Google and I came across your post. I would like to inform you that this is not an image by Rockwell, but a doctored image of his Christmas scene and William Bouguereau's "The Little Knitter". The real Rockwell image has a family excitedly looking out the window at their dad's new car.
