Wishing

My post about stars yesterday got me thinking.

One of my earliest childhood memories is looking out my window as it was starting to get dark and wishing on the first star I could see. "Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might have the wish I wish tonight." I think I did that just about every night. I know it's maybe a little silly, but I still wish on stars sometimes. More often I just marvel at them, but occasionally I wish on them too.

Deciding what to wish for.

A couple of weeks ago our whole family took turns wishing with my wishing wand. I think we need to do this more often. It was magical. I feel certain that all our wildest dreams will come true now.
