Getting a real letter is a splendid thing, isn't it? Good mail can make a good day better and kick a bad day square in the keister. Oh, how I love a newsy letter, a cheery card or even just a couple of heartfelt jotted lines!

Now it is February and what better way to celebrate the month of amor than by spreading the love with paper, envelopes and postage stamps? My friend Tanya from Tanya's Stamps & Things inspired me to take part in "A Month of Letters" after she wrote about it on her blog. I have cards. I have stamps. I am ready! For the next month, I will be sending out hand-written, heartfelt letters every mail delivery day. Maybe you'll find one in your mailbox. Maybe you'll even write back.
Huzzah for handwritten letters!
Oh, and THIS.

Yes. This reminds me of Garrison Keillor's essay on writing letters that my creative writing prof from a couple years ago had us read and that I loved. In fact, here 'tis: http://fs.huntingdon.edu/english/johnson.michelle/Keillor.pdf
its gonna be a fun month! :) Also, I love the clip- that's how I feel too when I get mail! :)
I really do like to write letters, they are more personal than a call or a text. Beautiful handwritten notes show love.
I love this idea. I'll have to do it one of these coming months because this one has already started. :)
I love that I just got Rick Rolled. Hilarious!!!! BTW, I wandered over here from The LetterMo forums.
